Welcome!!! Trail enthusiasts in Paulding, Douglas and Cobb Counties have joined together to form the West Georgia Chapter of IMBA-SORBA. We are very excited about this new relationship. Bringing together the resources of the three counties will allow us to better serve and grow the mountain bike community than we could do separately.
Your chapter was hard at it on a hot July day! The Mountain Bike Patrol was working at Allatoona trails in Cobb learning evacs and training together.
Douglas was working on opening a new beginner trail at Clinton Nature Preserve. Douglas purchased some much needed tools to help with the trails after a successful summer solstice race.
Paulding was on the Silver Comet Sidetrail doing maintenance and labeling the kiosk at Tara Drummond trailhead.
Thanks for your help it is much appreciated.
Been a busy May with Sorba West Georgia, our trails at Clinton Nature Preserve in Douglas, the Silver Comet Sidetrail in Paulding and Allatoona Creek trails in Cobb, laying rock, maintaining the trail and opening new reroutes were completed. Also the mountain bike patrol was out training on our trails thanks to all that spent their saturday with us, it is appreciated.
